Cameron is from East Liverpool and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Kent State University. Cam comes from a background of special education teaching in grades P-5 and plans on working with neurodivergent students after graduation.

Outside of school, Cam enjoys being outdoors, anything sports, and playing video games.

Camryn Berdysz

Resident Assistant

Camryn is from Stow and is currently attending the University of Akron, where she is pursuing a degree in Adolescent-to-Young Adult Integrated Social Studies Education. She is passionate about cultivating meaningful relationships and their role in helping people grow, not just academically but as whole people, and that passion translates directly to her role as a Resident Assistant at HCL.

Camryn found her love for working with the disability community as a college freshman, when she worked as a vocational coach and saw genuine joy grow in the relationships she built with clients. She has found the same to be true at HCL, where the residents and community have become like family, and she is proud and grateful to represent and share HCL with others.

Maximillian Winslow

Resident Assistant

Max is a senior at the University of Akron, double majoring in Financial Management and Financial Planning. He is passionate about working with families to help them solve complex financial issues, such as planning for a loved one with developmental disabilities after their parents have passed. That is where his drive to work in this community comes from.

Max feels very lucky to have become a part of the HCL community and looks forward to having everyone he has formed relationships with remain in his life long after his time here.

Outside of work, Max loves playing and coaching basketball and is deeply involved in the young adults ministry at his church.

Jenna VanRaepenbusch

Resident Assistant

Jenna joined the HCL staff in April and is currently a graduate student at Kent State University studying Speech Pathology. With both of her parents being Special Education teachers, she has been surrounded by people with disabilities her whole life, but her passion began in elementary school, when she volunteered at Camp Sunshine, a summer camp for kids with disabilities.

Jenna has served in peer and mentor roles throughout her life, and working as a Resident Assistant at Hudson Community Living is the best place to continue that. She truly loves the community created here, where each resident brings their unique personality into a place full of friendship, kindness, and support.

Jenna holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State in Speech Pathology and Audiology, with a minor in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
